Wound Care
The doctors and practice nurses offer care for chronic wounds in addition to wound care for all procedures done within the clinic and post-surgical procedures done in a hospital e.g. removal of sutures. A small charge may apply for dressing materials used.
Iron Infusion
This procedure involves administering the infusion through an intravenous (IV) cannula inserted into a vein in your elbow crease. The infusion process takes about 10-15 minutes, but you should allow for an hour in total as the nurse will monitor your blood pressure, pulse, and temperature at regular intervals throughout the procedure.
Before receiving an iron infusion, you’ll need a consultation to determine if this treatment is suitable for you and to discuss potential side effects. If an iron infusion is deemed appropriate, your doctor will give you a prescription to purchase the necessary medication from your pharmacy, which you’ll bring to your infusion appointment. Cost is $245 (with a rebate of $80.10 from Medicare)
Ear Syringing
Please note you will need to prepare your ears for syringing before you see the doctor and nurse.
Lesion Biopsy and removal
Minor procedures can be performed in our treatment room. Procedures may have variable out-of-pocket expenses. Any costs will be discussed with you by your doctor at your consultation before the procedure.
